Sahaja Samrudha Organic Producer Company Ltd (SSOPCL) marketing under the brand name “Sahaja Organics” was formed in 2010. The Producer Company is a unique concept wholly owned by organic producers, who are necessarily primary producers committed to protecting the environment, and providing quality and health food with concern for consumers health.

The company was initiated with concept of patronage of shares and only shareholders could market his/her own organic organic food crops or value added products. With its large network of about 2800 individual organic farmers and 40 organic producer groups are part of the producer company.

Sahaja Organics is the largest wholesaler of organic rice, pulses and millets in Karnataka and has developed a connectivity network of consumers and producers. The Producer Company offers products at most reasonable prices to consumers without compromising on the quality, purity and goodness of organic and also providing earmarked prices to its organic producers.

The company has grown year after year with a breakeven in the year 2013 and a turnover in 2014-15 of about Rs.3.6 crores($514285), with profitable years and then 2017-18 a profitable year with turnover that crossed Rs.7 crores ( $ 1,000,000). Continued on its profitable growth in the challenging organic market environment, it provided its shareholder suppliers with a “Withheld Price’ is sharing the company’s profit with the farmers for 4 consecutive years.
