Third Party Certification
Certification with Aditi Organic Certifications Pvt. Ltd., a process by which our agricultural products are certified as meeting certain standards of organic production. This typically involves following specific guidelines regarding the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs), as well as promoting sustainable farming practices and animal welfare. Every year external inspector from Aditi inspects farmers fileds and issue scope certificate.
Participatory Guarantee Systems
We also undertake PGS, a quality assurance system for organic products, primarily used by small-scale farmers and local producers. In a PGS, farmers and producers work together to verify compliance with organic standards through methods such as peer inspections, group meetings, and shared learning. This approach fosters trust and accountability within the community while reducing the cost and bureaucracy associated with third-party certification.
PGS is often used in regions where small-scale producers may face challenges in obtaining or affording traditional organic certification. It promotes local ownership, empowerment, and knowledge-sharing among participants, contributing to the growth of sustainable agriculture at the grassroots level.
